Be a part of the Valley's newest pre-professional ballet company. With over 50 years of teaching and performance experience, our instructors will provide the highest level of instruction available.
This company has a few new requirements for company members this season. The 2011/2012 program will start with an Company Audition on Saturday, August 20th at Jeanne's School of Dance on the southeast corner of Gilbert and Southern Rd.
Company members will be placed in one of the three levels - Apprentice, Junior, or Senior. The Junior and Senior members will be required to attend company class on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the Mesa Studio. Company class is in addition to regular scheduled rehearsals.
There is a company fee per dancer for all company members. Please call the Mesa studio for more details at 480-497-4646.

Christina Hampton, Artistic Director:
Ms. Hampton's career as a dance instructor has included associations with such prestigious schools as Chicago City Ballet School, School of Minnesota Ballet, Hartford Ballet School, Miami Conservatory, Academy of Ballet Florida, Palm Beach Ballet Center and Jeanne's School of Dance. For 11 years, Ms. Hampton has been honored to be a guest teacher for the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Summer Program.
Over her 20 year professional career she was a company dancer with Tampa Ballet, Hartford Ballet and was principal dancer with Minnesota Ballet and Ballet Florida. She performed works by world renowned choreographers and coaches, including Glen Tetley, Val Caniparoli, Daniel Ezralow, Lar Lubovitch, Sean Lavery, Ben Stevenson, Jerome Robbins, Gelsey Kirkland, Mauricio Wainrot, George Balanchine and Twyla Tharp.
Virginia Shelley:
Mrs. Shelley's early studies were in the LA area. She has studied the RAD method, but includes Russian influences from her earlier studies. Mrs. Shelley has appeared professionally at the Hollywood Bowl. She joined the Philadelphia (Littlefield) Ballet for 3 years and was a member of the Radio City Music Hall Corps de Ballet.
Mrs. Shelley also spent many years teaching at her own studio as well as for Ballet Etudes. Mrs. Shelley now teaches for Arizona Youth Ballet at Jeanne's School of Dance - Mesa.
