Classroom Guidelines 

All students must be dressed in the appropriate dance attire & shoes. Dancers need to come class prepared for class.    

Ballet

Tights - ballet pink 

Black Leotard - no skirt

Pink Ballet and/or Point Shoes

Jazz

Athletic type clothing.

Shorts should be a conservative length and comfortable to move in.

*Suntan tights are required for all performances

Suntan Jazz Shoes be required

Tap

Athletic type clothing.

Shorts should be a conservative length and comfortable to move in.

*Suntan tights are required for all performances

Suntan Tap Shoes

Lyrical

Athletic type clothing.

Shorts should be a conservative length and comfortable to move in.

*Suntan tights are required for all performances

Tan Foot Undeez (Suntan Jazz shoes may also be required)

Clogging

Athletic type clothing.

Shorts should be a conservative length and comfortable to move in.

*Suntan tights are required for all performances

White Clogging Shoes (clogs have double taps)

Hip Hop

Athletic type clothing.

Shorts should be a conservative length and comfortable to move in.

Tennis Shoes

Combo

Athletic type clothing or leotard w/ tights.

Shorts should be a conservative length and comfortable to move in.

Black Tap Shoes & Pink Ballet Shoes

Tuition Polices:

Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.  A $15.00 late fee will be charged if tuition is not paid in full by the 10th of each month. 

The return check fee is $25.00.

Tuition left unpaid for more than 30 days will result in your child being asked to sit out of class.

NO REFUNDS OR DEDUCTIONS are given for missed classes. Please make plans to take another appropriate class to make up for missed classes due to illness or holidays. 

An annual registration fee of $25.00 per student is due each year in addition to tuition.   

RECITAL FEES:

Dancers purchase their costume(s) for the recital and they typically run about $60 to $85 each. 

Costumes are  ordered in January and we ask for a $30 NON REFUNDABLE costume deposit in December. 

If your dancer is not going to be in the recital for any reason, please let the receptionist know in writing so we will not order a costume for you. 

If you do not let us know by January 1st, you will be obligated to purchase the costumer ordered. 

At least one costume per dancer must be paid in full by February.

There is at $25 recital fee due in April, which includes our 2 tickets to the performance. 

Additional tickets are $8-10 each depending on studio.   

Classroom/Studio policies:

All students must be dressed in the appropriate dancewear and shoes. 

No visitors or parents are allowed in the classroom expect by invitation. 

No gum chewing, or food is allowed in the classroom.  Water only can be taken into the classrooms. 

No street shoes are to be worn in the classrooms. 

Teachers will evaluate all students for proper placement in classes. 

All classes are subject to a minimum size of five students.  

Dancers and parents must how respect for their teachers and fellow dancers.  Dancers who do not show respect or are disruptive in class will be asked to sit out. 

Parents are responsible for watching their children in the lobby.

Student Drop Off/Pick Up

We want to assure the safety of your child.  Please do not allow your child to wait outside before or after classes.  Please be prompt in bringing and picking up your child for classes.
