Jeanne's Tuition and Policies

WHAT TO WEAR:

Combo Classes -  Exercise wear or leotard and tights.  Students will need black tap shoes and pink ballet shoes for females or black ballet shoes for males. 

Ballet - Females: Black leotard, pink tights & ballet shoes, hair in must be in a bun Males: Black tights, white T-shirt, black ballet shoes                                                        

Other Classes - Comfortable dance clothes that allow free movement and are approriately modest, hair must be pulled back and out of the face, no jeans, shoes will depend on type of class - please see the teacher for shoe types

    Monthly tuition is as follows for one student only.  Rates for more than one student can be figured by the receptionist.  Rates are subject to change and are not prorated for holidays.

Tutition Polices:

Tuition is due the 1st of each month.  A $15.00 late fee will be charged for each month if not paid on time.  The return check charge is $25.00.  Tuition left unpaid for more than 30 days may result in your child being asked to sit out of class.  NO REFUNDS OR DEDUCTIONS are made for missed classes.  Please make plans to take another appropriate class to make up for missed classes dure to illness or holidays.  An annual registration fee of $20.00 per student is due each year in addition to tuition.   

RECITAL FEES:

Dancers purchase their costume(s) for the recital and they typically run about $50 to $75 each. 

Costumes are  ordered in January and we ask for a $20 NON REFUNDABLE costume deposit in December.  If your dancer is not going to be in the recital for any reason, please let the receptionist know so we will not order a costume for you.  If you do not let us know by January 1st, you will be obligated to purchase the costumer ordered.  At least one costume per dancer must be paid in full by February. 

There is at $20 recital fee due in April, which includes our 2 tickets to the performance.  Additional tickets are $8 each.   

ClassRoom/Studio policies:

All students must be dressed in the approriate dancewear and shoes.  No vistors or parents are allowed in the classroom expect by invitation.  No gum chewing, or food is allowed in the classroom.  Water only can be taken into the classrooms.  No street shoes are to be worn in the classrooms.  Teachers will evaluate all students for proper placement in classes.  All classes are subject to a minimum size.  

Dancers and parents must how respect for their teachers and fellow dancers.  Dancers who do not show respect or are disruptive in class will be asked to sit out.  Parents are responsible for watching their children in the lobby.

Student Drop Off/Pick Up

We want to assure the safety of your child.  Please do not allow your child to wait outside before or after classes.  Please be prompt in bringin and picking up your child for classes.
